Ok, it looks like the so-called nu-gaze scene is taking place in northern europe, - more precisely in Norway: Maribel came to my attention with a song called Deflowers, mix signed by talented Emil of Serena Maneesh: the track opens with a drum/gtr riff pretty similar to MBV's Soon, - then it finds its way, buzzed sounds, hypnotic solos, and vocals totally catchy. - I'm totally waiting for a debut release.ƒ˜mp3 (via eardrums):
